You can't possibly cover London in a half hour show, so here's a couple of extra tips.
One very interesting tour I never see mentioned is the Regent Canal boat tour. It is listed in the London Pass book, which is awesome for discounts and discovering what to see in London. It is definitely an "off the beaten path" attraction and will show you a part of London you won't see otherwise. A description I found on a London web site states "Take a trip along the beautiful Regent's Canal in a traditional narrow-boat. Starting at Little Venice the cruise follows the canal through Regent's Park to Camden Town. You may go one way (45mins), stop over (catch a later boat back) or a straight return (1hr 30mins)." The second tip is for the taste buds. If you get tired of hot tea, bangers and mash, check out the Texas Embassy. You can dine on fairly decent Mexican food, Margaritas, and ICE tea... yes, with ice in it. And buy a souvinir t-shirt too. CanalBoat-sm.jpg (84 KB, 43 downloads) Canal boat tour |
