thats just it, i need a cheap way to get to amsterdam from london, does any one have any suggestions?

Definitely try Ryan Air, I've used it before and it is amazingly cheap and safe.

I have used Ryanair, and they're quite good. Watch out for hidden fees, and be aware that you won't be flying into the airports that are most convenient. Remember to add the extra baggage fees and ground transportation costs needed to reach your destination to that cheap fare. I prefer trains when possible, because you leave from the middle of the city, and then arrive in the middle of the next city.
