I visited Costa Rica in January of 2009 and now I'm learning Spanish so that I can be more conversant when I return in 2010.

I'm studying the Spanish For Dummies book and have found a great interactive instruction course. You can try it out with 11 free lessons before you decide. I liked it so much, I ordered the course. This is a super-excellent way to learn the language. Very worthwhile.
