Tell us about your favorite beaches and why they deserve to be ranked as some of the best.

I am Canadian. I believe one of the best beaches ought to be VARADERO BEACH in MATANZAS,CUBA. Despite the odds of the country, this place is fantastic for anybody. It beats many other beaches in quality and the prices are low compared to other destinations.

Eagle Beach in Aruba is about the best beach I have ever seen, 2nd in my opinion is Megan's Bay St. Thomas.

I think the travel channel should check out some of our beaches cuz Punta Cana, Puerto Plata has beautiful beaches and Boca Chica, Santo Domingo has some very cool beaches too. D.R. is an island in the Carribean for all of you uninformed ppl...and I think the country has some beautiful features about it! The rpices are low in the resorts and being there is worth the while!

I had the absolute best vacation there! It is beautiful (at the resorts) and very inexpensive.
It is clean, friendly and fun and a great cultural learning experience. (My husband is from Santo Domingo.) Oh, and food is fantastic (it is nothing like Mexican food - for those who don't know.)

You should check out vieques island for some nice and quiet beaches. There are some secret beaches too and they are realy nice.

FLAMENCO BEACH, CULEBRA ISLAND IN PUERTO RICO WAS THE BEST!! I WOULD GIVE MEEGAN'S BEACH IN ST. THOMAS HIGH RATING ALSO! BOTH STUNNING!

I How can I describe it. Eagle, Baby, Roger beach. I don't think discovery travel has gone to Aruba.

Vieques is absolutely beautiful, there are deserted beaches that you can find if you have a vehicle. I spent two great weeks there in August exploring the island!!!
