Yes. Samurai Beach is still a nude beach. No. Bardots resort is long gone. Samurai is still enjoyed by nudists as well as other beach-goers.
Reguals campers (nudists) behind the beach are currently upset with the plans that National Parks and Wildlife have regarding access to the beach and the use of the area behind the beach by campers.
Meanwhile that whole area, at Port Stephens is as lovely as it ever was and there still is lots of accommodation to suit all budgets.
