Hello...I'm a decendant of the Trostle's (the 3rd great granddaughter), a family that lived on the Gettysburg battlefield at the time of the battle, and I'm also a Civil War reenactor. I've had a few paranormal experiences over the years in Gettysburg, but the Triangular Field just past Devil's Den held an experience I will never forget till the day I die! I also have had a local psychic who does work in Gettysburg do a reading on me. Without her knowledge of my love and connection to the Civil War and to Gettysburg, she told me that I not only lived in the area of Gettysburg during the time of the battle, but I was personally involved and affected by this battle, and the war itself....

Jeanne from Seattle:

Please check out Devils Den on the battlefield. In particular the area of the Alexander Gardner photograph of the lone soldier. Supposedly the dead soldier was dragged to three different locations as a prop. He supposedly was with a Texas regiment. I would like to see if the team could get a name of the soldier.

Fascinating ......What happened in the Triangular Field? We have also found that field to be very active as well. I would love to hear more of your story!

hi to the most haunted team. i hope that you are going to the house of the girl that was shot while she was baking bread. the bullet came through the wall of her house and killed her in her kitchen, while the battle was going on. Her body was put in the celler until the battle was over and Now they say that if you go into the celler she will touch you. i am so happy that you are here in the u.s. and you are at GETTYSBURG. I HOPE THAT YOU ALL WILL BE SAFE AND I WILL BE WATCHING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS .

Marie from Conway,

First of all I would like to thank the members of the "Most Haunted Team" for going to Gettysburg. It is extremely important for the team to treat this investigation with respect. I certainly hope they are successful with finding about a certain spirit that I heard about. I don't remember the name of the farm he is sappossedly haunting, but I would like to know if he has passed on to the other side, especially after hearing how he passed away. From what I heard this is a very angry spirit who was mistakenly thought was dead and was left at the bottom of a pile of corpses for three days! They didn't find out that he was
alive until they started moving the bodies. He later died the day after they found him and laid him to rest. Although he is not at rest, he was a Union Soldier, so I hope that helps some. If you can find out anything about him I surely hope he has made it "home" inside Heaven and not fighting the battle anymore.

Been to Gettysburg many many times. Yvette, if you go to Spanglers Spring, when you are directly in front of the spring itself look up to your right on top of the knoll. It is reported that the ghost of a woman is seen there.
Cemetery ridge just past Jenny Wade house/Holiday Inn parking lot, Walk up and out past the stone wall and look down the hill toward the road lined with split rail fence that leads to Spanglers spring just around daybreak. Ghost of a confederate soldier has been seen running down there. After all is said and done take the 8 mile ride west on 30 to the Cashtown inn and Have one of the finest dinners in all of Pennsylvania. The place is purported to be haunted.

Good luck to you all. I'm looking forward to the show on Friday night.

As long as you are respectful and do not let fear get the best of you, the soldier spirits will happily oblige you with activity. My encounters at Gettysburg have always been pleasant.

Some wonderful places to visit with the soldier spirits are the Triangular Field, Devils Den, Wheat Field, Pickett's Charge, and Iverson's Pits.

To visit with civilian spirits, head to the Jenny Wade House and the Soldier's Orphanage.

You must go to the Wheatfield. It's the most haunted part of the battlefield. History books say that at the end of the battle you could not take a step in that field, without stepping on a dead soldier. It's a sad, sad place.

Question: The Video on the net Gettysburg ghost video (You Tube) do you think that is real? If so do you plan on going to that spot and leaving a camera running to see if you can pick up anything. Eek

Thanks for reading my question.

Hello,
First let me say that I do not want to answer for anyone but I have some info about that video that I would like to share. I found out through different sources just where this camera was when this was shot. I was trying to put a camera in the same spot to try to capture it as well. It was shot at the Triangular field pointing towards the bottom where plum run goes by. If that is accurate there are no more trees there, they were removed with the deforest project. Also, that would mean that those lights ( soldiers ) would be 10 - 12 feet in the air because at the old treeline there was a drop off. Having seen, heard, and felt so much I have no doubt that the film is genuine - this is Gettysburg, the most haunted place in America.

Hello Most Haunted team..I was wondering if you could, while on your adventures this evening in Gettysburg...call out to George Meade or maybe Robert E. Lee the commanders of the armies that were in battle....having some sort of sign from these two gentlemen would be most interesting!!! All the best this evening and stay safe....I have been to Gettysburg and know exactly how amazing this location is...so enjoy!!!

Hello this is Joe from Gettysburg,
To the most haunted team. When you investigate the Farnsworth tonight there are 3 key areas that need to paid special attention to : The Garret room ( attic ), his is where the Rebel sharpshooters were and at least 3 were killed there and dragged into the basement, the Sara Black Room, it is probably the most haunted room in the place, and the cellar. There is a spirit of a boy named Jeremy there, he loves to play tricks, open doors, jiggle door handles ( I have seen him jiggle the doorknob of the Sara Black room ) and pull on clothes - he has pulled on my clothes when I worked there after I spoke about him.
Good Luck,
Joe.

Rich Greenwood, De

I am a Confederate Reenactor, March of 2003 our unit was camping on the Daniel Lady Farm, I witnessed a very strange site, During a late night camp fire the temp dropped to below 30degrees, and a light came on in the barn. A shadow was seen crossing a window. This was interesting since there is not now or has ever been electric in the Barn. The next day a member of our unit went into the barn to gather water as the water on the farm is not potable. The reenactor came flying out of the barn water jugs flying. He said that when he went into the barn a small older man with a beard met him and told him "that what he was looking for was over there." He pointed at a ring on the ledge of a window. Since this was a Hosp and the stalls were used for pts, the horses were tied up on rings along the front wall by the house. Also there is a set of intials from a confederate from the 44th VA in a window sill. When covred with dirt, the next mornng they are uncovered and very clear. The funny thing is that When Union units stayed there they never saw anything. I suggest that you wear confederate uniforms they will react with you more favorably. Good luck and be careful. Oh if interested ask me about Pinzers Woods next to Longstreets Monument. Our unit assits a Artillery Unit on Fathers day. You'd be surprized what happens at midnight out there. Very few have had the prividge to camp on the battle field like I have. I feel Honored to have slept amongs my fellow confederates, 145 years after the fact.
