Every place seems to be called the "most Haunted" by the owners trying to get people in the door. I have been to several "Most Haunted" locations around the country from Florida to San Diego and enjoyed myself a good deal of the time but as for any of them being the MOST haunted it's strictly a hit or miss situation. For me it was an empty broken down farm house the members of the team I belong to just had a feeling about 6 miles from home in Illinois. Over exposed places are mostly haunted by publicity. After awhile the spirits get worn out doing parlor tricks for the tourists.
Interesting, I hadn't thought about the "most" description before reading your post. Funny that its true a lot of places call their locations the most haunted in the area or state or the most haunted hotel in America, and so on.
There's the Winchester House that's suppose to be the most haunted house in America.
I have been to the Winchester House and it was a strange building but if it is haunted I didn't get any sense of it. Mrs Winchester was told by a supposed psychic that if she did not continuously build on the house she would be haunted by all the people killed by Winchester Rifles. It must of worked because they built on iy day and night up till the day she died. TAPS went there too and got nothing either. Strangest house is still good enough to bring in the tourist.
