My favorite places in Paris include:


The Montmartre area w/it's charming cafes and shops; Sacre-Coeur is in the area and the view from up there is breathtaking


Jardin des Tuileries when the weather is just right and the children are racing boats in the fountain


Chez Leon (restaurant chain w/the best mussels in the world); I've been to the one near the Opera metro and the one on the Champs Elysees and neither disappointed


Shopping at Etam and La Samaritaine; there's a great lunch spot/diner next to La Samaritaine called Petite Dejeuner serving the best steak and fries I've ever had; the owner is a sweet French lady who goes around to every table making smalltalk; she's quite the flirt too
