I am planning a trip to Paris this winter and want to stay in a short term rental apartment.
Has anyone done that? What was your experience? Can anyone recommend a website to book on?

I stayed in their cheapest apartment on Rue de Picardie in 2006. It was great! The person who owns and manages the service is American, so he knows the little things that Americans like(coffee maker, washer and dryer in the bathroom and wired for free Internet,)none of which you would find in your typical French hotel. There was also a small refrigerator and kitchen with a microwave, that made heating up food easy. With a Monoprix grocery store right around the corner and only a few short blocks from and Metro station it is perfect for 1 or 2 persons.
