They use the St. Regis to film the television show Las Vegas for NBC. I know because I filmed there. And it was a five star experience. They served us St. Regis tea and drinks throughout the day with a full tea menu and silk satches. I got to take a walk by the pool and the cabana areas and it feels like you have your own beach. Now I should explain, I wake up in Orange County everyday. In Disneyland! So the St. Regis in Dana Point was the perfect place to rest my weary soul. I'm the German Tourist in the Indiana Adventure Ride. And to be honest I hope it airs forever. So I was happy to stay in "Las Vegas" because my german touring could use a rest. I got the buzz that many celebrities have stayed in that very hotel. There was a cool coffee bar and I caught some of the NBC crew relaxing and drinking coffee. And the bathroom had a divan in there with individual rooms in the bathroom. I was lucky to snag a luggage tag from St Reg and my Mercedes was the star of the show. Daisy pulled up to the valet service and I have all the evidence on tape. Ew! And for shame, how lucky I was to eat lunch with Josh Duhamel. I look up and there he was. Across the room. And all he had to say was a smile. Our lunches on set are catered. Same with breakfast and if your there long enough, dinner too! And the St. Regis catered to us just perfectly. We rested our extras weary feets in the lounge in between shots. It was a new show at the time and there were signs informing the guests we were filming.
