Hi everyone (especially Samantha):

I have not yet had the pleasure of seeing the episode where Samantha went to Edinburgh.

I met a lovely gent online from Edinburgh. I flew out to meet him and his friends for the New Year of 1999. We went to a home and enjoyed some beer. Then more beer. About 4 am the next morning I begged my partner, please, can we go home now? Home they said - never - apparently in Edinburgh it is not uncommon to drink for two or three days. In fact you will notice on or about the second day of drinking, you can start to understand what they are saying.

The humor of the people in Scotland was wonderful. I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life. At one point of getting ready, I was fixing my hair in my boyfriends tiny flat. I came out of the bathroom and asked him, "if you were me, what would you do with this hair". His wonderful reply was "woman, if I were you, I'd be too busy playing with my breasts to worry about my hair".
