Sam has been answering questions on her Facebook page this week. They were fun to read, but I'd much rather have her here with some true Brownheads. For some reason I'd feel way more comfortable asking her something on these boards than on Facebook.

I also wish 99% of the questions weren't about how she got her job...

I'm with you, bluebelles. I can't even count the times I've answered that question for her... Syracuse, musical theater, improv, commercial, TC interview, GVH. *sigh*

I read with interest Bluebelle's comment about how "99" percent of the questions posed to Samantha are related to how she got her job. I thought that was odd, especially as it had not occurred to me to wonder about how she became employed in this venture, but I liked her interaction with the locals in the countries that she visited as well as information on'high' and 'off' season hotel rates; and,other little travel tidbits.

I would also like more information on hostel accommodations as these are often overlooked. Sometimes these are not as classy as a 4 star hotel but some can be quite clean with a friendly staff. I was introduced to the series featuring Samantha Brown via DVDs for loan at my local library; but, I've never watched her on the Travel Channel. I watched the Rick Steves programs (PBS) for many years and I have seen other DVDs featuring various countries.
