I am happy to see that under the "TV Shows" heading, this website has recently added a section on China. Therein we can see that "Passport to China with Samantha Brown" is finally going to be shown during the Travel Channel's "China Week," which all looks very promising. Check it out for photos and summaries of what the shows will cover. Cruiseluver will be happy to see that there will be a Royal Caribbean Tour of Asia, but not hosted by Samantha. She must have been too busy.
Premieres will be:
Beijing, July 28 at 8 P.M. E.T. Sichuan, July 29 at 8 P.M. E.T. Xian, July 30 at 8 P.M. E.T.
These new Passports will all be shown again (5-8 P.M. E.T.) as part of a China Marathon on August 7. This is certainly something to look forward to.

Yay! Buy why, oh why, does it have to be so far away?
Thanks for the tip about the RC tour of Asia, I'll keep an eye out! Funny... I never even considered the thought of an Asian cruise. That would be cool!

I am looking forward to that so much, and thank you for all the information! I'm glad Sam wasn't in China when the big earth quake hit! Even if she were not in those places, much of China felt the quake. July seems like it's so long from now, but gives us something to look forward to!

I cannot wait for this show and great weekends to begin! Sam is such a great host! Learning about China before the games is such a great idea!
Also I can't wait for Nashville Star to start at 9 tonight! What can I say I love travel and I love country!

Anyone know how many episodes were shot for this? I hope we get at least 10-12 since China is such a huge country.
I am really looking forward to China week. I love travel shows that focus on Asia and Sam will make this must see TV.

djariya, No, 10-12 episodes would be nice, but I think Samantha was only there last September to shoot the three one-hour specials for China Week.

Thanks Interesting. I read that Sam was in China for 1 month and I'm surprised they only managed to get 3 episodes filmed. But, I guess 3 hours of Sam in China is better than nothing.
I hope in the future Sam will consider doing a Passport to Asia series and visit more countries. But, that could take her months to film.

Mother O! Thank you for this information. I have so noted it on my calendar. Once again, you prove that you have your finger on the pulse of what's going on Samantha-wise!
