First, I want to say how much we love love love the show. We TiVo all of the episodes and enjoy them all. Samantha is so much fun.

I wanted to thank the show for its element of gay visibility. I saw the episode aboout South Beach, and Samantha commented about the location of the gay beach, matter-of-factly. I really do appreciate the respect that she shows to gay people in doing that. We've been invisible (or worst, vilified) for so long, and to see her include us so openly is very moving to me. I'm 50, and had to live many closeted unhappy years, and the growing openness about gay people is so encouraging.

Anyway, hoping this doesn't come off as a soap box; really just wanted to express my appreciation for the show.

I noticed that too. Good for Sam! And the TC. Some people need to realize that treating something as taboo will not change anything, and everyone should embrace every kind of person, no matter where they're from, what they look like, or who they love.

I thought this was a great addition to the show as well. Most major cities have a gay community that contribute to the culture. It's time they get recognized too.
