I hope that you have a wonderful thanksgiving. I don't care if Intl Doc doesn't believe in love. Pat

Patrick, you have me all wrong, dear boy. I do indeed believe in love and sincerely hope that one day you may find it. But you must meet someone with whom you can relate on every level, from friend to partner to lover and companion. To meet your special someone, Patrick, you will have to search somewhere other than your television screen. I’m sure you agree that it is far better to love a real person who knows you intimately and loves you in return than it is to pursue a digital electron gun illusion. [No offense, SB.] Searching for a real person in your life won’t be easy and it won’t be quick and it certainly won’t be a perfect match (sorry, no such thing); but when you find her it will be evident she was worth every moment of the wait, I promise. Try your church, your favorite restaurant, school, university, art festival, concert, wherever your favorite places are. Perhaps you might consider travel to meet someone (you must have known I’d get to this), and a singles cruise comes to mind as a good start. I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your quest and in this holiday season hope you may share it with those who care deeply about you.
I believe it was Renaissance sage Ewan McGregor who once said, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return.” You are wasting time in front of the telly, Patrick. Get out there and find someone! The world awaits you …
