Actually, Nunesy, it was Dejardins who used to be the first to wish Samantha a happy birthday and I suspect has mentally sent her his best wishes in the course of his day. And she surely knows there are many, many others who share that intent. But no, I don't think she need reply to these. I think they're sent quite selflessly, and with no strings attached, for her to enjoy as she wishes. We get to see her all the time. She owes us nothing further.

I've been back from Scotland for a bit. While there, I had a nice visit to Sandy Bells, the traditional music pub from your Edinburgh episode. The "Malt of the Moment" that evening was The Macallan Fine Oak. Yes, I lifted a wee dram of it in honour of our dear traveling friend. The music was wonderful and I shot a bit of video of it. Tiny place, but very warm and welcoming.
