I will not wish you a Happy Holidays, or a Seasons Greetings, I will only wish you a most Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
People have forgotten what this time is all about, it is the celebration of a birth, not just to go out and fight over parking spots and the last big toy of the year, pushing old ladies out of the way to get to the right string of pearls, from what I've heard is the only way to tell a woman how much you love her
So please try to remember that this time of year is not all about what you get, but how you treat others and how you are known as a human, and to give thanks for the blessing that was given to us so many years ago.
So to you and yours, may I wish you the Merriest of Christmas's, and that is all, for anything else defeats the reason for this day.

Sheesh.

It's also that time of year for television marathons, such as the Great Hotels Marathon beginning December 27th. It's much safer in front of the telly with our friends than venturing back to the mall to exchange that cheap string of pearls for a diamond anyhow.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
