CL, I believe that SB's birthday is March 31st. I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that we celebrated it here by sending letters to DC to ask that Passort to Europe be renewed another season. And apparently the gift fit.

Hello all, I am a big fan of Samantha Brown, Her quick wit and good travel sense make me wish I could travel around! I have wanted to ask her a question about the Walt Disney World Resort and her stay at the newest resort Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have worked for The Disney Co. in the past and I am intrigued to hear what She (Samantha) had to say about the quality of the resorts! I have in the past had the chance to live and work in the Caribbean (Nicaragua Guatemala as well as Mexico) for a relief and development organization called the Mercy Ships I wondered if she has ever been to any of these places. I am a huge Sam fan...when walking in Waikiki (i live on Oahu) I had to stop by the hotel's she's been at just to say "Sam's been here!!!". I would love to be a part of the fan club. Her humor and personality makes it so easy to feel like she's just talking to you and not hosting a tv show. Also I would kill to have her job!!! She is sooo lucky. the best way to be in contact with her would be to wait till she comes on the forum where she answers questions- request an autographed picture and she'll ask for your email address and will email you directly for your snail mail address. when she does that you'll have her email address and you can go from there..

I think it was Steve in Michigan who first observed that every summer the mashers come out herein, although he used somewhat different terms. In point of fact, we have one in this forum who will do “whatever it takes” to date Samantha, and until there is a “ring on her finger” he will pursue her relentlessly. There is a ring on her finger, but apparently it is the wrong size, color, or otherwise meets with his disapproval. And he hasn't offered professional references yet either.

A brief word to the male gender herein: Gentlemen, and I use the word advisedly, fawning over a woman for her romantic attention – particularly over a woman who is about to be married – is impolite, ill-advised and just plain bad form. Not to mention, when one does so in a public forum regarding one whom he has never met, an element of pathétique enters the equation. May I offer a little suggestion?

There is a great deal to admire in Samantha Brown, and this forum is exactly the place to do just that. Indeed, she is attractive, extraordinarily bright, adventurous, amusing, and on and on and on. So, to thank her for these attributes, let’s show SB a little respect, OK? PTE isn’t a showcase for SB to receive offers from lonely hearts club applicants, but it is a showcase for one very remarkable talent.

Just wanted to say I am a huge fan of Samantha Brown! She is so fresh, happy and brings a smile to my face everytime I see her. I'm a mom of two little boys and have recently been diagnosed with cancer. I've been going through some major chemotherapy misery. Many days I'm in so much misery, I just lay in front of the tv and let Samantha & the Travel Channel wisk me away to some beautiful destination!
As soon as I see Samantha's face I seem to feel better. I just wanted to let her know what an impact she has on so many lives with her wonderful travel shows and uplifting personality. Keep up the wonderful work Samantha, your so cheerful, beautiful & entertaining!

Samantha Brown is "10" Goddess - I always enjoy her witty and informative explanations - As long as she brings her bikini she can visit the corner walmart or the black hole of calcutta - She is a class act and one great lady !
