This may have been asked before, and if so I'm sorry. But is there a way to purchase DVDs of Sam's series? I have taped several of them, but now my tapes are becoming obsolete and I don't own a DVD recorder yet. (I'm sure I will soon!) But I hate having to fool with stopping and starting to eliminate commercials. Thanks for any help!

So true about the VHS tapes going out! just today, my Mom's VCR didn't work and she replaced it. She had to take it back because it didn't work with her TV. So she bought a Tivo.
She does have a DVD player, and we both got rid of most of our tapes.
If you look on amazon.com, you will find four "Passport To Europe" season one on DVD. I have all four, and they are just beautiful! They also have "Great Hotels." The others are not on DVD yet, but I'm sure they will be!

I know this is most likely very futile but it is better than nothing. I recently ordered a few of my favorite episodes of Great Hotels from amazon, After receiving them it is pretty clear its a burn to order type set up, so if there is any way to ask for a deal where we can order a whole season or so at a discounted price? I mean $10/ episode is quite steep. Since they are burning them as they are ordered what about like an ordering system where all the episodes available can be either added or not and then they can be burned per the order at some kind of per disc price or something. It would be nice to be able to order more shows and not pay so much. thanks.

Passport To Europe's first DVD's started that way and costs even more than $10! I paid much more for only the Berlin show. But now her PTE are all in four DVD's. I wouldn't be surprised if "Great Hotels" come out in a set too! Keep an eye open for it!
