Lets hear from those of you who thoroughly enjoyed the company of the film crew, directors, and Jeff Corwin himself? Our experience; my wife and I had the honor of this experience and will cherish the moments forever! Such a wonderful group of people. It was exciting to drive Jeff Corwin to the grocery store, I sat and listened to my wife who was a bit star struck and trying to make conversation with Jeff. At first I admittedly was too, but I was asked to teach him how to fly a hovercraft for this documentary, and being a professional in this field I had to keep my wits about me too. I gave Jeff a crash course in flying the hovercraft and to my surprise he flew it exceptionally well for a couple hours of filming. Whether anything comes of it or not, we met some of the nicest and heart warming people! We invite Jeff, his family and the rest of the crew to please come back and visit our little neck in the woods again! Thank you for the wonderful experience, Godbless Ken and Mary HOVERCRAFT ALASKA http://www.hovercraftalaska.com/

That is so awesome!! I can't wait to see the show!! My son and I and my parents just came back from an Alaskan cruise. Oh my gosh, I never imagined so much beauty!! It was so breathtaking, so magnificant, there aren't enough words to describe it. We started in Vancouver and ended in Seward. Along the way we visited Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, The Yukon, Icy Strait Point and Kenai Fjords (the 9-1/2hour boat tour). We just couldn't get enough. If there was ever a place I want to go back to it would be without a doubt or any question - ALASKA!! We're from San Antonio, Texas by the way. :-) What a beautiful, beautiful state you live in. All the pictures we took will never do any justice to all the beautiful magnificant places we saw; to think there is so much more that we didn't get to see. If my son and I ever have the chance to vacation the way we did, we'd skip the cruise and head straight to Alaska.

I am watching the show right now. As an Alaskan I enjoy what I am seeing although I it would be better if you were honest rather than try to sell your bias by lieing. I am not sure which Caribo herd you were filming, but I can tell you from personal experience the Nelchina Caribo herd is over 250,000 animals strong

We as Alaskan's can get caulky now and then. Seems this is another case of mistaken identity. To put the record straight, doing some simple research. The Western Artic Caribou herd is the largest in herd in Alaska, It crashed in the mid-1970s from about 242,000 to 75,000 animals. I am assuming ak_cal moved to Alaska at that time just before it crashed. See http://www.wildlifenews.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=wildlife_news.view_article&articles_id=15&issue_id=13 The Nelchina herd has never been more than 50,000 animals...see, http://www.wildlife.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=wildlife_news.view_article&issue_id=31&articles_id=171 or http://www.myalaskanvacation.com/communities/tok/tok3.html I hunt this herd and others, and being a third generation Alaskan, I like to keep to the facts for conservation reasons!

I think he's doing a great job. No matter how much criticism he's receiving here all I can say is keep it up Jeff. Alaska deserves it.

I was able to spend some time with Jeff Corwin and his crew while he was in Anchorage. There was more time spent with his crew who were very professional and friendly people. I hope they return again.
