When I was youngster in Yakama Valley, my step Father and a friend of his, liked to go up to Mt. Adam's and treasure hunt for some cache of treasure, I think they were looking for coin's of some sort? I don't know why or how they even started this treasure hunt or when it began. But, I do remember years and years of going up to the mountain, and camping out hunting & fishing for weeks at a time. It was a fun and great adventure for us kids. Me and my brothers and sisters. They had medal detector's and they would go out, in the mornings and stuff. Then later they went looking for the D.B. Cooper money too. I didn't care as long as we went camping and hunting & fishing. I learned to skin deer & elk and fish. I was living like old time Indians did in the wild west. I loved it, I have alot of good memories, even if we didn't find no treasure. THE HUNT IS HALF THE FUN, ISN'T IT!
