I for one thought it was excellent. I can't wait until Janurary for the next episodes.

That was one heck of an adventure, beautiful scenery, what an excellent sample she got for her hard work. Just makes me want to get out there and do some rockin'!

Thanks for the great sneak peek!!!

I just finished watching the replay of 'Cascade Crystals'. This was by far the most adventurous dig yet. Copters, rapelling, dynamite, sheer cliffs w/ loose rock under foot, and widow makers everywhere.
Encore! I am counting the days until January.
The way I figure it, each episode has AT LEAST four days of shooting; a day to get there, 2 days digging, & a day to process and appraise the finds. I'm sure that it's common to double that time.
I don't envy the editors. A very valuable 98% goes on the cutting room floor to cut it down to 23 minutes, including interviews, tips & advice, more scenery, and of course more of the 15 hours of digging & finding that got cut down to 8 minutes. Any chance that the 4th season will feature hour-long shows? We want fries with that.
Oh, not to be unprofessional but more bikini-clad Kirsten appearances are always welcome.
