Okay, seriously, I'm not all into ghosts and just a full on believer in them, however, do not get me wrong, I don't deny they exist either. But I do have a rather paranormal story that gives me chills just thinking about it.
In Feb. 2006 I along with my best-friend Ashley, and our friends Ryan and Levi, went to Mayberry Inn , which is an abandoned Inn right outside of Hot Springs, Arkansas, http://www.hsnp.com/zz_mayberry_springs_inn.htm, there's the background of the place. When we arrived I had a very uncomfortable feeling, just a bad feeling, as if something is telling you to turn around and leave, you're unwelcome. I had been on many "ghost trips" as we called them, even went to the Gurdon light, and this was the first time I was scared. We walked up to the house after climbing over a fenced that was badly stomped into the ground, if you weren't careful you could seriously hurt yourself. Well as we got closer to the house the intensity grew and I became more anxious, when we went in there was something horribly wrong, we walked into every room saw the blood stain that had been covered up, the writing above the fireplace...everything. Well as we were leaving the boys decide they want to go to the caretakers old house in the back, Ashley and I followed but when we were attacked by bats we changed our minds and told them to give us the keys we're going back. Ashley had Ryan's keys in her hand the clicker ready to go, as we passed by the house I started to hear footsteps grow faster and harder behind us, I ignored it thinking it was my imagination, but a split second later Ashley lets out this blood curdling scream followed by my scream and I take off, all I could see was the lights to the car going off like she was pressing the unlock key. I actually beat Ashley to the car who ran track all through highschool and I've never run a day in my life, and to top it off I'm a smoker, I don't even remember going over the broken fence. When I jumped in the car all I could was Ashley trying to get her door open but it wouldn't open for anything, she finally ran around the car and jumped in my lap, I immediately looked into the woods and saw the guys' flashlight deep deep in the woods too far away for it to have been them trying to scare us. Even now, I'm looking over my shoulder as I'm typing this, I'm not crazy and I know this story seems to prove me wrong, but I don't know, that house made me believe in the paranormal. Well we recently went back actually last saturday. But that's a whole different story, and I'm not really sure if I should type that much since I'm new to this forum and everything.

Man, I hate that. It's like someone telling a joke and then forgetting the punch line. It just leaves you hanging.

What a big dumb meanie. Razz

i went to this place just last night real late with a few friends we went in in pairs and we turned our flash lights off and sat there for awhile. we went by the fireplace and sat there, we sat in the attic, we sat by the bathtub in the basement. Nothing happened all night and we walked around that place for a good hour trying to piss off whatever was there and nothing happened. its a waste of time theres graffiti everywhere, and the place looks like its about to fall down. we couldn't find the caretakers house after exploring the woods and the trails for a few mins the trails came to an dead end. that place should be burned down honestly. i'll probably go again with one friend and see if that makes a difference i highly doubt it though.

Well I hate to inform you that someone burned down Mayberry Inn. I have seen that place there since I was a little kid and I am saddened by the burnt remains. whoever did that should be ashamed! I went there not even a week ago and there is nothing left except the chimney where all his victims were placed by him.The victims were his wives. If you know anything about this fire please alert Garland County Police or Sherriff's office.
