Amelia, Ohio - Dead Man's Curve
Clermont County

Where 222 meets St. Rt. 125, there is a deadly intersection which has been the location of many accidents. The most famous, and the one that give's the intersection its name, occurred on October 19, 1969. A 1968 Impala filled with five teenagers was hit by a 1969 Roadrunner, and only one man, named Rick, survived. Ever since then, people have seen a "faceless" hitchhiker walking up and down the road near the scene of the accident. People have also seen a driverless Impala or Roadrunner around the area, also.

Video of location and eyewitness accounts

Wow I never new Ohio was so haunted. I was born there, but moved to AZ when I was just 7. It would be neat if we could find ghost stories in and around Doylestown or Seville Ohio. How do you find these stories Sodie? I would like to look up some for these 2 towns I lived in. I have my suspicions about Doylestown.

I'll look into Doylestown.
I still can't find any (good) stories about the DC area. Ohio? yeah...anywhere surrounding DC? Not so much.

Sodie, I think your stories about the haunts in Ohio are tremndous. Unfortunatly yes it is hard to find alot of stories about "ghosts" in DC, no one wants to talk about them. It is like pulling teeth to get some one to talk about it. Even the surrounding areas wont talk about it, they say that they use it just use it to pull tourest their way. Then they clam up when asked.
Never walk into a museum in DC and say you feel something strange. One of the staff will say it's just the feeling of a large building. Confused

I have accounted for 4 of the 5 in the Impala. 2 are buried at Mt Moriah Cemetery in Clermont County, one at Georgetown in Brown County. One survived. Where is the 5th person buried and what happened to the driver of the Road Runner?
