18 years ago we moved into our house. From the very start strange things began to happen.
The former owners had floodlights installed outside because they said the neighborhood kids would come up and ring the doorbell or knock. We moved in... there are no other kids in the area. Only our 10 yr. old son.

It didn't take long. Slowly at first, but over the years I have had so many things happen that now I just ignore it. My family says it only happens around me. My husband (who is very skeptical) has changed his viewpoint and whenever I tell him of a new occurance... lets just say he believes me now. Although nothing has really happened to him, he says he has "felt" enough strange vibes to know it's true.

One night I awoke when I felt a child sized hand on my face. I have been alone in the kitchen and a flower pot fell over from the sink onto the counter. (it was no way near the edge). One time I was in the kitchen again, and the handles on my china cabinet (in the dining room) started banging up and down. If I am sewing, the cord will suddenly rearrange itself into a different position. I have felt a cat jump on the bed and start to knead against my leg. At the time we had 2 cats, but they were in the other end of the house. I reached down to pet thinking it was one of ours... nothing was there. One evening I was sitting on the floor of our bedroom with my young daughter. My husband was a few feet away. Suddenly it felt as if a train was running under the floor. The sound was horrendous and really scared me. It happened only for a few seconds but no one else heard it. Only me.

Nothing has hurt us. But to know that there is a whole unseen world around us... it makes one feel rather humble.
