My name is veronica harris, I am 17years of age and I am very serious about ghosts. I have seen and heard things that really caught my eye. About a few weeks ago home lone. It was getting dark fast and I had my pitbull dog Nera with me. I was seating in the living room. Next tothe living room is the hallway. My dog started to bark at the hallway. I get up to see what it was and it was really cold in the one little spot. The rest of the house was pretty warm and the hallway was very cold. Then something caught my eye a black shadow just zoomed right pass me. It was so fast after that I thought to myself well at least it did not hurt me so i just went back to what I was during. I love ghost so much but I really think that there is something out there people can not explain.

Question:
how do you know when you have a ghost

Choices:
foot steps that you know is not yours
You hear and see explained things

I don't understand the whole "footsteps" thing. How can something spiritual in nature have heavy footsteps??? Maybe it's not footsteps your'e hearing.. I've never had that experience so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about however, If you think about it, it just doesn't make sense to be heavy footed when your'e a ghost Right???

Hey, Veronica, what's up?

Oh, to be 17 again. That was a fun time in my life . . .

Anyway, about your ghost or what you think is a ghost.

I've experienced the whole heavy footsteps thing. More so at work than anywhere else (I work in a haunted prison). Ghosts do seem to use footsteps to make their presence known. Why or how they do this? I don't know. I just know they are able to do this.

The "black shadow just zoomed right pass me" thing? Oh, yeah(!), that's one of the hallmarks of a haunting! Several of my fellow officers as well as myself have experienced that. Quite unnerving to say the least.

The cold spots also fit in with all the other phenomenon.

You said your dog was barking at something in the hallway. Is there any area in the house he/she will not go into? Reason I ask is sometimes animals will absolutely REFUSE to go into certain areas of homes that are suspected of being haunted.

You might want to inform your parents of what happened. Even if they don't believe you, at least you told them. If anything weird happens again, they have a history of events that you informed them of. OK? Who knows, maybe they've experienced something in the home that you're not aware of.

Keep us informed.

Hi Ronnie.

A couple of things you can do is keep a journal of the things that you experience and go to the local library and do some research on your house.

A journal may provide some evidence of a pattern to the events and finding out some history on the home or area it is built may give clues to what is going on.

Remember, there are very few actual cases where a person was hurt by something going bump in the night.
