Yeah, but it's a proven fact that if you stick your finger in a socket you will probably get shocked. Why a planchette needs to be heart shaped instead of A shaped isn't a proven fact.

I would love to try a Ouija board. My aunts who are very strong Catholics tried one and have filthy words spelled out to them so I have never tried one.

patches it seems to me perhaps the board was working..but on your father. If he was using it to get to your friends, he may have already been possessed by a demon.
I personally have only touched a Ouija board once and that was enough for me. We asked a ? and the cursor moved and I screamed and that was that but I have heard stories of boards even levitating across the room. That board was burned and I was told that demonic faces were seen coming from the fire. However you get rid of it, the main thing is to get rid of it. I would definitely seal all doors with prayer first though.

If you had used the board, close all of the portals that you have opened.

Secondly you need to burn the board, there no other way. Be sure that the board is in ashes before you leave the burn site.

You've played with a powerful portal to the world unkown. While you're storing the board do you have the pieces seperated.

Did you know that storing both pieces together will keep the board at a constant connection with the other world; that's only if you used the board for communication; and you could be allowing other things through that portal, things that could cause harm to you or your family.

I owned a board for a few years, between moving around and stuff I lost it, so much for them following you eh? but during the time I owned it I was never able to contact anything. However, I think between using energy on that, and reading books like The Goetia, I have unknowingly released something. The air always feels so heavy, and I feel so much negativity around me. very much a dread sort of feeling.

3 yrs ago I burned a ouija board. Yes there was a brilliant blue flame. Now it seems to be on my mind alot and I can't help notice that I have had extremeley bad luck throughout my life ie.. deaths, loss of a long term job, and depression. I want to know what, if any, ritual I can do to cleanse my home and property of this bad energy that I do believe came from the burning of this board. I've searched every where for an answer but every one just says not to burn it. yeah well too late lol NOW WHAT????

I know this might be a bit late on the info but hopefully if anyone else that visits this page will find this and even you Robin. If you have burned a board (bad) with these types of boards what you need to do is break it in half, while breaking it pray for forgivness for using it break the planchette also, that is the heart of the board that is why on some boards they come triangle shaped or heart shaped. Take it and toss it in the trash. Then if you still feel bad vibs or if something is laying on your mind take a white candle light it or burn sage go through the house reciting the Lord's Prayer. You can do the same with holy water that is actually bought from a christian book store. Shake the water into each corner of the home praying the Lord's Prayer then demand for every harmful, evil or harbering demon or spirit to leave (read the book of Act's if you wish to learn how to rebuke and cast out). If you decide to use sage burn the sage also make sure to get in each corner of the house every square inch and dont forget to actually leave a window cracked open. You let them in you have to give them a way out if not the rebuking will weakin them but if they are locked inside the house they will come back with more strength and force. If you wish to use olive oil to cleans the house crack a window. While praying the lords prayer as God to place guardian angels at each corner of the house protect it from all evil, harm and harbing demons, do not forget to ask God to bless the house you can also pray these prayers over your family for protection. While you pray dip your finger tip in the oil and place a cross above each door on the frame and above each window of all rooms, if you have a fire place bless the mantle, cover all entrances and exits. I'd advise that for the start don't even get a ouija board in the first place. It just causes a lot of confusion. Plus i don't think that the ouija board has any special "powers" so to speak. It's just a wooden board that was created by someone as a scam. DON'T BUY INTO IT NO MATTER WHAT. It's just too much of a hassle. If someone offers it to you for little or no money just say no thanks. And if you have one just throw it away and dont think about it. It's just a board with letters on it. The only good thing about it is just a good prank.

I lived in a 200+ year old house which was haunted. Use of the ouiji board caused unwanted activity. We finally had the house exorcised and blessed by an Episcopal priest. We then anointed the ouiji board, sealed it from any power then burned it. We had no further trouble, but after we moved they couldn't keep occupants more than a couple of months due to renewed activity. They finally turned the house into offices, but nobody wanted to work late!

When I was a teenager in the early 60's we lived in Levittown, Long Island, New York. We bought a Ouija Board.Back then the triangle Planchette had crystal feet and a glass window. My father was working for the Government and was working on a secret project. He wouldn't tell us anything about his work.All us kids sat around the table with our fingers laying lightly on the Planchette.Since my mother was against it,she sat across the room with my father.We asked the Ouija Board the name of dad's secret boss.It actually spelled out the name of my dad's boss,it was a long name.My father's eyes bugged out,"that IS the name of my boss!" he said. Then my mother said,"ask the board if God approves of it" and that's what we did.The Ouija board flew out from under our fingers and hit the wall.Our fingers were still poised above the surface of the table not realizing, right away, that the board wasn't beneath our fingers any more.It just missed hitting two of us...Needless to say, my mother burned the board.

I have two Ouija Boards and have used them quite a bit. I've never had any issues with them personally.

I also had one, recieved it as a christmas gift when I was 10. It was advertised as a toy over 45 yrs. ago and is still displayed in toy stores today. BEWARE,THIS IS NOT A TOY!

The Quija board and other colorful decieving boards are not a TOY. They are a tool to communicate with the spirit world and very dangerous because you do not know who is comming through the board to speak to you. I had several frightening experiences with it and made the mistake of keeping it in my closet.

I disposed of the board by throwing it in a large body of moving water(river). Water is cleansing and purifying. After doing this I felt a physical and emotional change take place. I felt like a heavy weight was lifted off of me, my mood swings had left and I felt happier than ever before. You see when I threw the quija board in the moving water, I also threw away the ugly, evil spirits that were attached with it.They could not stand the cleansing power of water. Get rid of it! Dont keep it and what ever you do never sell or give the board to anyone. You are not just giving someone that board, but you are giving them the spirits that are attached to it. Why would you want to give a curse like that to anyone?
