I think I may have a legitamate haunting in my home. I have tried to explain everything in it through logical reasoning. So here are the incidents I can't explain off. I should first say I have the ability to sense presences of spirits. There are a few rooms I don't like to be in at night. Anyway to the house.
The hardest one to dismiss is when my mom and I came home one day. We walked in and heard a loud crash. It turns out that one of the fan blades had fallin off. We looked at the fan and the little bar connecting the blade and the fan snapped. But there is no way it could. The fan was only around 20 years old. Also it looked like it had been cut through. Then my friend has consistantly told me in the middle of the night a mist comes through my door circles my bed and then leaves through the door. He has tried to wake me but normally it is too late. He also says he doesn't feel threatened by it. But he does not feel the same about the guest room. My dad stays in the guest room. He has been woken up due to his leg shaking violently. I also do not like the guest room. It has cold spots constently and has some unusual occurences like picture frames floating and mists. Also in my room I have seen a blue mist in front of my door. My friends also say that they do not feel good upstairs in either my room or the guest room. Finally my brother-in-law woke up during a storm and watched the lights on the entertainment center in our living room. As he followed a light he saw through the corner of his eye a white light. He turned and saw a women in a white robe. She was floating under the fan where the broken blade had been. After a few seconds she turned from the lights to him and disappeared.
Most of everything else has a logical explanation to it. But it still freaks me out to hear the house settle.
If anyone can think of explanations to these occurences just reply.

So...you're saying that a fan blade that is 20 years old, couldn't have possibly, oh, rusted or gotten dinged one too many times during a move, to have broken off??? Tell your friend to get a video camera, oh and did your friend consistently tell you about this mist before or after you told him about these goings on...Evidence is Everything...If you can't prove it, it's probably not happening...coincidences....cold spots--drafts or a window is open....mists are probably dust in low light....evidence, evidence, evidence

First the fan was origianl to the house and is in very good condition. The other blades have no rust on them and have not fallen off. Second my friend was the first to notice the mist and the first to see anything happen. And the mist comes and goes quickly and randomly during the night it is not very reliable.

Ok here's my two cents.. I also believe that everyone has the ability to sense when a spirit is around them, most people's ability is more enhanced than other's. I think before any house is labled as haunted it should be checked and triple checked to see if there are explanations for the hauntings that are occuring.
~ The ceiling fan could have had a faulty blade attached to it. Forgive me but if a fan is 20 years old then that doesn't mean that it's not going to break at random.. I mean come on.. it's 20 years old! lol
~ The mist your friend see's in your room around your bed, is it possible that he's dreaming?
It's not that I don't believe you, but it's better to be safe than sorry, ya know. If after all the checking and verifying that it's not explainable then I suggest you log everything as it happens. Time, Date and the supernatural occurance. Check to see if a pattern forms. Also try doing some research on the location, house and land.

I do have more news on the guest room. My friend saw the mist brought his camera. He took some night shots of the house then said he would video the guest room. He said he wanted no disturbances. He went into the room shut the door and began video taping. He came out about a minute later wide eyed and pale. He was breathing so heavily that he needed a minute to calm down. He told me that while he was video taping he heard a small whoosh. Then what souded like a loud whisper in his ear. I told him it could have been the air conditioner but he felt no comfort from that. He showed me a picture of the room. In the picture one of the dolls that normally faces the dresser was facing him. Because the room was pitch black he didn't see it until then. That picture was takin seconds before he came out of the room. I then went into the room with him and I had a sever headache and began hearing all sorts of bumps creaks and whispers. I needed to leave so we left and didn't come back until the next day. When we looked at the photos he took we found orbs in some of the pictures. This is the first time we have done any investigation into my house. Also that night no mist came but small streaks of light kept going throughout my room.
