I'm planning a trip to Cancun for mid-september. I'm just a little worried about the weather. I know it's hurricane season, but I'm also concern about strong winds and rainy days.
Can anyone tell me if I should be concern about the weather? Can anyone tell me their experience in Cancun in september? Also, would you recommend staying in a All-Inclusive or not? I'm thinking of staying at a hotel and just figure out where to eat there. We are vegetarians and don't drink much...! Thanks for any reply! |

I Stayed at Blue Bay Getaway Resort from Mid September for 4 nights. Overall I had a pleasant stay... Mid September wasn't the best time to go..
I found no problem with the rooms... all of Cancun has the mustardy damp smell... so you should get used to it. The pools are excellent... they are the highlight of the resort... The beach is not really a beach... to be honest Cancun’s beaches are average in comparison to Puerto Vallarta's. Before you come to Cancun be aware that you are a TARGET.. you are a cow and they will milk you as much as possible. You are a cash cow basically.. you are there to give them money... and they will find ways to exploit you and take as much money as possible from you.. whether its from tips or from charging you too much for anything. The best part of Cancun has to be the CocoBongo Nightclub.. If you don't manage to go here.. then you are missing out on the best show in town and probably the only good thing to do in cancun. My advice is... do not go to Cancun August to November. |
