The place is Pierces Pitt BBQ 447 E. Rochambeau Dr. Williamsburg, Va. Opened in 1971 by "Doc" with the same Tennessee style receipt. Has been in Southern Living Magazine numerous times. I found out about Pierces Pitt BBQ in 1996 when I moved to the Tide Water area. We would drive up to mountain bike, at the near by parks on Sunday. And afterwards stop and get a JC's Special ( BBQ sandwich, fries, drink, and a cookie ) and by the time we where done more than 75 customers had been served. Now I drive from Lynchburg, Va. to get the best BBQ in the USA.
