The Ewig family of Port Washington, Wisconsin have been harvesting and smoking fresh water fish from Lake Michigan for 5 generations.

Located on the west shore of Lake Michigan, in Port Washington, Wisconsin, their smokehouse continues the family tradition of turning out the finest smoked fish products in the region.

Since the "old" days when Lake Michigan fish were brought in by their boats, smoked on site, in traditional smokehouses, then sold in their market, little has changed in the process of producing quality smoked fish for their customers.

They insist on hardwood fires, in seasoned smokehouses, as the best way to smoke fish. 7 days a week, year around, they are smoking Lake Michigan Chubs, Canadian Lake Trout, Alaskan and Atlantic Salmon, and Whitefish.
