Philly Cheesesteak Shoppe
3050 Broadway, Eureka, CA or 1811 G St, Arcata, CA

They used to have a challenge to eat a 6-foot cheesesteak, but they've changed it slightly.

Their current challenge is to eat 8 "classic" cheesesteaks (roll, meat and cheese) and a basket of french fries with no time limit.

Even with the change in the challenge, there's probably still a good 4.5 to 5 feet of cheesesteak to eat.

Those who complete the challenge get a $100 gift certificate, a photo on their wall, and a Philly Cheesesteak Shoppe hat.

Yup ! and here's the menu...

http://www.walliesdiner.com/

I have done the 3LB 6 times, 6LB once and have never thought of starving myself long enough for the 9LB.

But wait, dont forget the Garlic Fries !

I would love to see Adam take on the 9lb.

SACRAMENTO!!!
There are a ton of great places to eat here, but the three I am going to mention are a must taste for the UNBELIEVABLE host Adam! First off is the Historical SANDRA DEE'S BBQ AND SEAFOOD... this place will have your senses running wild!!! With its down home Creole inspired cooking it has been rockin' Sacramento's taste buds since 1925! 2ed is the Infamous BUGGY WHIP STEAKHOUSE... all I have to say is this is by far the best steakhouse in town!!! With it's specialty being prime rib! (best i ever ate to this day)... last but certainally not least is FORD'S REAL HAMBURGERS... there isnt anything fancy about this place, this just a good ol' fashioned burger joint that has been serving the good people of Sacramento for 20 years now! (opened in 1988) this is where Adam "THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL" Richman will find a mighty challenge!!! THE HUGE 1LB "FOOTBALL" burger! We all know Adam would devour 1 of these things as so many others have, but how about a record 3!!! To my knowledge NO ONE HAS EVER ATE 3!!! So how bout it??? Is Adam ready to take on the MONSTEROUS taste of the capitol of Cali?

Freebirds! in Isla Vista California. It's a buffet style burrito place with huge proportions and good food at reasonable prices. This Freebirds! is the original and is by far the best.

Hazel's Drive-In In Antioch Ca. Hazel's has been In Antioch Since the 50's. The biggest burger on the menu is know as the "Willy" burger not for the movie whale, but for the owner's son a former professional bodybuilder. The willy burger is a patty weighing 2lbs. with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and choice of condiments. The competition has only been able to manage nine patties. The food is great and the old style drive-in will stir feelings of nostalgia. Wash it all down with a hand scooped chocolate malt.

I heard about the pho place in San Fransico, and thought that is would be a nice Man Vs. Food Challenge.
Just a regular size bowl of pho already fills me up; I can't imagine a super size one that even a baby can bath in. http://www.phogardensf.com/page.php?Page=team

For along time the Colorado Grill in Fresno/Clovis has had a 9 pound burger on the menu. I've never seen it but I'd like to. Regardless, their burgers are excellent.
