Kyodai Rotating Sushi Bar in Towson is a great place to get fresh sushi. You choose what you want as it comes around on the belt. It is a great way to try a variety of sushi at a reasonable price. If you can eat more plates of sushi than the last person who got their picture on the wall, your picture goes up and then the next person would have to eat more than you.

There is a place in Ellicott City that has all you can eat tacos on Tuesday's. The record in 13 within an hour and a half. I challenge Adam to beat this. It's a great little spot located in the heart of historic ellicott city on main street.

Hi Adam! You should come to Ocean City, Maryland. Ocean City is the biggest tourist destination in Maryland and a great family resort town. Aside from the beach, the food is half the fun of vacationing here. In particular:

King Kone
143rd and Coastal Highway
Ocean City, MD.

King Kone is the best ice cream shop in Ocean City and you should take on their Gorilla Sundae. I think it consists of something like 5 bananas, 10 scoops of ice cream, a can of whipped cream and several other toppings. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

There is also Devito's Sub Shop (in the same shopping center on 143rd) that has amazing subs (the bread makes the sub!,) Phillips Seafood Houses (several locations along Coastal Highway, famous for seafood buffet w/all types of MD Seafood,) and on the Boardwalk there is Fisher's popcorn (amazing caramel popcorn) and Thrasher's fries (the best fries anywhere, ever, seriously.)

Hope to see you in Maryland soon!

You got to try Capital Q, a Texas BBQ joint in Chinatown, Washington, DC. This is real BBQ for big eaters. For the ultimate smoked meat challenge get 2 kinds of sandwiches, like brisket, chopped beef, pulled pig or chicken. But don't stop there. Don't forget the entree meats: full spare ribs, smoked sausage, and turkey. For those who like it hot, don't foget the spicy BBQ sauce. You can ask for half and half, but don't be surprised if this dialed-down combo still doesn't make your lips sizzle. Skip the soft drinks and opt for the sweet tea or glaringly pink lemonade.

Hi Adam,
So you are wondering where to go in MD/DC area...well I will tell you. You need to go to Chubby’s Barbeque located in Emmitsburg Maryland right off Rt 15. For being a family owned restaurant it is the best. People think they need to travel to the south (Texas and or North Carolina) to get great BBQ…well Chubby’s is where it is at! Not only do they have Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Smoked Chicken, and Baby Back Ribs; they add some great well known southern sides as well (collards). But you have to try the Chubby Potatoes. Lets just say they are fried potatoes with sausage & onions…enough said!
But we all know you like to hear about food challenges…well Chubby’s has the Avalanche Challenge which no one has yet to try and or complete. Lord only knows I couldn’t do it.

Each contestant must eat 2 Avalanche burgers which is (4) ½ lb Handmade Cheeseburgers, (4) Louisiana Hot Links, with your choice of mayo/ lettuce/ fried onions etc. Lets not forget you must also eat 2 lbs of French Fries….yes that is 2 POUNDS of FRIES. So in other words 8 hotlinks, 9 -1/2 lb burgers, 16 slices of cheese, toppings, and the fries…is that a big enough contest for you Adam???
All you have to do is eat all of that in ONE HOUR and you win a tee-shirt, your picture will be on our wall of fame forever, and a 100 dollar food gift certificate. If you aren’t man enough to try our challenge and or you lose, you get to pay the 39.95.

Stop by Chubby's and show them what you are made of!

Please come and check out Stoney Creek Inn, in Pasadena MD. It may not be a Challenge spot, butit's definitely a place to consider checking out for a taste of Maryland. All the other Seafood places ain't got nothin' on this place.

It's one of the best places to get a real taste of the Chesapeake's Best Crabcakes and Cream of Crab Soup.

I myself am loyal regular customer to the restaurant establishment and hope that you'll come visit next time you're in Maryland (P.S good luck on Chick and Ruth's Colossal Challenge, you'll need it).

Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives recently on The Food Network in November 2008.

Stoney Creek Inn, 8238 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD.

In Baltimore MD there is a place called Cluck-U where you have to eat a certain amount of wings, in a certain amount of time without a drink of water. The sauce is unbelieveably hot (has a sauce called 9-1-1 sauce)
If the challenge is completed they have a wall they put your picture on. I have never been there but my brother and his friend did, and his friend got his picture on the wall. I think it would be very entertaining
