Brushfire BBQ Company in TUCSON is fantastic if you are coming down this way. Everything in the entire place is made from scratch. One thing you cannot get ANYWHERE else is a dish called "Messy Fries". It's an enormous pile of beer-battered fries covered and tossed with one of their homemade BBQ sauces, brisket, pork, shredded chicken and mounds of freshly grated cheese.

Their website is: www.brushfirebbq.com
Everything is smoked for hours using local mesquite and hickory wood.

I don't know about the challenge for Tucson, but maybe Adam can go to Pat's Chili Dogs. MMMMM
I love em, but I'm not sure if they are unique enough for the show.

In Sierra Vista, there is a place called "Vinny's New York Pizza" the pizza is nothing special but they have the best wings I've ever had, and a challenge to go with them. They have 5 levels of heat for the hot wings "mild, medium, hot, suicidal, and homicidal" the challenge is 20 homicidal wings. Not only are the wings hot but that's a lot of wings to eat. If you make it you get a pic on the "Wall of Flame' and a t-shirt.

For a real breakfast challenge try:
"Big E's Pile-up- 12 eggs, 3/4 lb. of Neuske's bacon, 12 slices of cheese and lots of hash browns, all smothered with country gravy. You get 30 minutes to finish it.

(By the way it costs $30.00, but if the deadline is beaten, it is free.)

TCB (Thunder Canyon Brewery) in Tucson, AZ! They have a Natural Disaster hot wing challenge, and extremely delicious food. The best burgers, mashed potatoes, and anything else that you can imagine. My personal favorite!

I also work at San Felipes Cantina. The Gordito burrito is easily 7 pounds and impossible to eat in one sitting. Families order it to share. If you come to San Felipes goodluck Adam.
Here are some past posts about locations in this state:

The Heart Attack Grill, Chandler

The Heart Attack Grill at 6185 W Chandler Blvd. in Chandler, AZ has a burger that is estimated to be 8,000 calories called the Quadruple Bypass Burger. Only few people have actually finished the entire burger. The fastest time that anyone has ever eaten a Quadruple Bypass Burger is only 3 minutes and 47 seconds! I would love to see you take this burger on.

Crazy Otto's, Phoenix

While Crazy Otto's originated and has several locations in CA, I go to the one at 35th Ave. and Greenway Rd. in Phoenix. If you leave there hungry, then you just had toast.
They also serve dinner plate-sized pancakes like the Stepping Stone Cafe, and 6 egg omelets (I order the half omelet - only 3 eggs). The smallest burger is 1/2 lb.! They have some dishes you won't find at many other diners like Scotty's Chili Cheese Dog Omelet made with diced hot dogs, chili & choice of cheese.
They also have a dish called the Hobo. They pile your plate HIGH with scrambled eggs, hash brows, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, & mushrooms. Ham, bacon, or sausage is a little extra. I don't know if you get a t-shirt or something for finishing it, but the really friendly staff told me they've yet to see anyone finish it yet!
You up for it Adam?

Lindy's, Tucson

Must go. Bryan's Black Mountain BBQ. Rave reviews from all the local reviewers. They serve up the Big Pig, a loaded order of fries with pulled pork, Brian's secret sauce, tons of toppings and graced with sour cream.

Here's a link to their site, some reviews, and a video.
