Hello, I am from Buffalo NY, the home of chicken wings and I'm a new watcher to man vs. food and love the show. I recently saw where Adam went to Quaker Steak and Lube and ate the Atomic wings. Well one of these restaurants just opened in the area and I decided to look into how hot the wings are. The Atomic wings Adam ate at QSL were 150,000 scoville heat units (SHU) which is pretty hot. BUT, it is no comparison to how hot some of the wings at Duff's are. Duff's is a wing staple in western New York. There are 2 locations, I prefer the Orchard Park location myself. The atomic wings are equal to only the 3rd hottest wings available at Duff's. The Superhot is 150,000 SHU, the Death sauce is 500,000 SHU and the pinnacle Armageddon sauce is a staggering 850,000 SHU. I would love for Adam and Man Vs. Food to come to Buffalo and try authentic "Buffalo" wings at Duff's. Unless he can't take the heat...
