Kansas City is known for its BBQ! We have so many great places. Gates, Johnny's, Jack Stack, Oklahoma Joe's, BB's Lawnside, Arthur Bryant's, Fritz's, and so many more that I know I left out.

But in my opinion, Oklahoma Joe's is the best. It originated in a little gas station in KC, and it's still there. (With one other bigger OK Joe's recently built.) Gas station BBQ? Yes, it's the best in the city. It actually did start out in Oklahoma, with the branch in the KC gas station opening as well. But supposedly no one could oversee the OK location, so they stuck with KC and it worked!

A close second is Fiorella's Jack Stack. I have a hard time figuring which is my favorite, but Jack Stack comes second. Not just their BBQ, but their sides as well. Cheesy corn = AWESOME!

I strongly recommend you come to Kansas City, the BBQ capital!
