d.Dooley's 026 Grill in Fenton, MO is the place for "Double Dipped Dirty Wings" with the Meatlovers Pizza. This family owned business is the most lovable place in the Fenton area. The owner, Dan Dooley, and his parents, Mama D and Papa D will knock you over with kindness and fantastic food. Adam needs to come by for the welcoming atmosphere and after eating the wings and pizza, he needs to try Mama D's homemade warm gooey butter cake. Yummy!!!!!!! Currently, Dan is working on a food challenge for the clientele,.....it is a work in progress.

In St. Joseph, MO there is a restaurant called The Tap Room that is home to the hotest thing i have ever eaten. they call it the Afterburner Challenge. It consists of five 7-chili cream cheese(including the ghost chili) stuffed jabanero poppers that are breaded in a ghost chili breading. Then you have to wait five minutes before you can drink anything. t-shirt and bragging rights for the winner.

Springfield, Missouri is known for two foods. One is the Sancho Enchilada Style at Mexican Villa and the other is Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. Mexican Villa is a locally owned restaurant that is known by the locals and thousands of college alumni who once lived in Springfield. You might find better, but it's a classic.
Springfield Style Cashew Chicken was invented by the owner of Leong's Tea House back in the 70's. It's simply fried chicken chunks, rice, oyster sauce, and cashew nuts. I'm not sure if Springfield has a "monster challenge" for Adam, but it does have some great food. |

Adam I have a place I think you will love. It is called Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston MO.
Never before have I seen a restaurant serve home cooked food like this. Any meal you choose on the menu in itself is huge and enough to feed a normal person but they do not stop there. They have people that constantly walk around the restaurant bringing what they call pass-arounds. These pass-arounds range from fried potatoes to macaroni & tomatoes to fresh fried okra, all of which are unlimited. You can literally sit and eat here till you can't move and and still want another bite of there wonderful food. Lambert's is also known as the Home of the Throwed Rolls. Why you ask? Well according to history back when Lambert's first opened the place was so crowded that the waiters could hardly get around to deliver the pass-arounds. As the waiter with the fresh hot rolls was trying to get to one customer, the customer shouted at him to just throw the roll to him. Soon everyone was wanting their rolls tossed to them. The new delivery method stuck and still to this day the rolls are tossed across the room to the waiting customers. The Lambert's in Sikeston is the original location and though other stores have opened ours is still the best. Sadly there is no eating challenge that I know of in this place it would still be a wonderful place to stop for one of your pre challenge locations. I have included a link to their homepage which tells all of the history of the location. http://www.throwedrolls.com/ |

I AGREE, EXCEPT THAT I LOVE THE ONE IN OZARK (CLOSE TO BRANSON) BUT THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL AND THE ROLLS ARE THE BEST. BTW, HE DIDN'T MENTION THAT IF YOU EAT ALL YOUR MEAT YOU CAN GET MORE, IT IS AN ALL YOU CAN EAT SITUATION (YOU CAN ONLY TAKE A DOGGIE BAG OF WHAT YOU ORIGINALLY ORDERED THOUGH)! |

I fully agree about the "Insane Death Wings" challenge at Grinders. I am a hot spicy food enthusiast, and the hot wings at Grinders are the hottest ones I have found so far. I would love to see Adam attempt to eat 12 of them! |

ST LOUIS MO If Adam needs a partner for the Pointersaurus challenge at Pointer's Pizza, I'm there! I've been aching to add this one to my list, but I can't seem to find someone serious about taking the challenge with me.
