The Pig Out hosts a BBQ contest each year as one of three official SD State Proclaimed BBQ Cook-offs and recently became a Kansas City BBQ Society Sanctioned Cook-off!
Meat Competitions: Chicken, Pork, Pork Ribs, and Brisket.
This fun filled weekend includes a Music Festival with live music, great food, vendors and rides for children, this competition is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Barbeque as a culinary art and a sport.
