The Bavarian Grill is the number one German bar and in Plano, Texas (just 15 minutes North of Dallas). This place is a living legend for lovers of authentic German food and beer all over North Texas. From the food to the weekend polka band I don't know what we here in Texas would do without the Bavarian Grill!
Not only is the Bavarian the home of such favorites as the largest schnitzel in the DFW area but also the classic Schweins Haxe: The slow roasted ham hock, braised with Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock, pictured with bread dumpling and fresh red cabbage -enough for way more than one person. I've yet to see anybody eat it alone and finish! To make things even better the Bavarian has an extensive selection of German beer that has fuled their ever growing Stein Club for over 14 years! (Hell, even I'm a member!) Even the beer is big at the Bavarian -you can order almost any beer by the liter and their bartender Andrea will chase you out with a baseball bat if you think about cracking a Bud Light in this place! Stop by their website and check it out -it's a definate must for Man Vs. Food or anybody else that loves huge portions and good food and great German family atmosphere! THE BAVARIAN GRILL |
