Please post your food challenge suggestions here for this state. If you have photos and video of the location, please upload them on our What's Your Trip site.

Here are some past posts about locations in this state:

Bridgeman's: The Original Ice Cream Restaurant, Duluth

In this challenge you have to devour a one (1) pound burger, any side of your choice, AND the La La Palooza Sundae itself (8 scoops of ice cream, tasty toppings, and of course whipped cream and a cherry)! The burger consists of: A full pound of ground beef, topped with two (2) slices of cheese, four (4) pieces of bacon, lettuce and tomato. The La La Palooza Sundae consists of: Eight (8) scoops of Bridgeman's creamery fresh ice cream smothered with a double serving of caramel, pineapple and strawberry toppings. Nuts, cherries and a sliced banana top off this colossal dessert.

The Brickyard, Hibbing

A HUGE fully customizable burger! A ton of Angus beef that is literally stuffed with the fillings of your choice makes this one big-*** burger! Served with a nice sized pile of fries, no need for an appetizer and you need to come armed with an empty stomach! Come to The Brickyard Sports Bar in Hibbing, Minnesota for one hell of a burger!

Matt's Bar, Minneapolis

Check out Matt's Bar and see if you can beat the current record of this Minneapolis phenomena. 2 fresh beef patties hand pinched around cheese, cooked on an open flat grill, and served up in a basket, you've gotta get it with onions. The record is 11 as it stands. My husband worked there, and it is truly a midwest treat. Ask anyone who lives there, and they will point you towards Cedar Ave. to the mostly highly rated burger consistently in the Twin Cities.

Patrick's On Third, St. Peter

Chuck Norris Burger. 2 -1 POUND PATTIES, 4 strips of BACON, 4 slices of American cheese with a GRILLED CHEESE IN THE MIDDLE.
(What would Chuck Norris do? He'd eat this burger; that's what Chuck Norris would do.)

[b]Party Pizza[b]

My family owns a small catering business called "Party Pizza." www.partypizza.org We regularly make 36" 42" and 48" pizzas and a 36" cookie for peoples various types of parties. We cook the pizza and cookies on site, and serve them there as well. We have a traveling oven Roger, the father, has built himself and giant pans that we cook the entire thing on. We would love Man to take on any one of our items.

FYI the Large (48") pizza weighs roughly 20+ pounds.

I think a GREAT challenge would be to try all/many foods on a stick from the Minnesota State Fair! Oh yeah! From deep-fried candybars to deep fried mac-n-cheese on a stick, Adam could have a field day, trying everything that could be put on a stick! Not only that, but he should also try eating 10 baskets of the famous cheese curds and 3 buckets of Sweet Martha's Cookies (maybe) in one sitting! How's that for a challenge? Every year, new foods are added to being "on a stick" and only God knows what may come next. Its all delicious food, and I have to say that my favorite is the "alligator on a stick". New foods this year will include: scones with chocolate chips, caramel and marshmallows; butterscotch cake; s'mores; and fruit covered in batter, deep-fried and coated with powdered sugar. Axel's Bull Bites Booth will be serving up sloppy joes on a stick. The State Fair will include 54 different stick foods. The fair runs from Aug. 23 through September 3, 2009. Yummy!! Hope to see u there, Adam!! hee hee!

Right outside of Mankato MN is a small town called Eagle Lake. A little restaruant called The Eagle's Nest has a burger the size of a frisbee. They call it the Duke Burger. Lot's of people have tried, but they usually end up going into food comos halfway through. Trust me, the Duke Burger would be a true challenge.

The Vermillion Club in Tower, Minnesota is home of the Bamboozeler. A 24" pizza made to your liking. This is a great tasting pie that serves 6-8 people. Take it down solo and you make the hall of fame at the VC. Good luck Adam

Flameburger on Central Avenue in Columbia Heights. They have a 2 pound burger with 8 slices of cheese, 8 slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Plus the fries. Great burgers, but I stick with the half pound burgers. I like to get a seat where I can see the grill, love to watch the flames rise off the Grill!

Mickie's Diner in Saint Paul is a real icon.

I'd love to see him visit the Minnesota State Fair, and go on a food tour of the fair.
