The last time we were at Tico's in Watertown New York my husband tried the El Gigantic Burrito. He gave it a good try but didn't get it done. As a few weeks ago the burrito remains unbeaten. Noone had finished the burrito since they opened over a year ago. It is 5-6 pounds of pure awesome burrito. Are you man enough?

Nick Tahou's
The Garbage plate is a Rochester tradition. Alot of other good plate places but no one match's up to Nick Tahou's.

Adam-
After watching your burger challenge at the AAA baseball game I was inspired to go with a couple of friends to a local burger joint to complete their 22oz burger challenge. The burger was tasty but unfortunately it was a bogus challenge, didn't even fill me up. After the disappointment cleared my friends and I all thought of the perfect challenge for you to take on next, we each tried it and could not finish it. It is in Long Beach, NY (where I live). The restaurant is called Swingbelly's BBQ. It is hands down the best BBQ that I've had in the Northeast and as good if not better than any that I've had in my travels. Anyway the challenge is a whole lot of delicious bbq and sides that you have to finish within the hour. It is insane, but we all agreed that you could tackle it and get a place on their wall of fame. You should come and do it, let me know, I think it would be awesome. I'll try to attach the link here...

Thanks,
Alex

Just outside of Albany is a small town called Chatham. A new sports bar just opened and they have a burger challenge! You have to eat a 22oz burger (The MJ Burger) in 2:22....it comes with fries but to win the challenge you don't have to eat themt too.

Chatham is full of family owned restaurants that cook with local food. Delicious!!

I love the show, watch it every time it's on (even if I already saw the episode) and it would be awesome to have Adam check out upstate NY!

In Scotia NY theres a little place called Caputo and Cimino's Deli, Imports and Catering
We have the challenge for you. The deli and cafe has been offering the "La Bestia" meatball sub for anyone who feels that they can stomach all of it. It’s 7 home made meatballs, a large loaf of Perecca’s bread, home made sauce and cheese. It comes in around 6 pounds. Over 20 people have tried, starting on February, and no one has done it yet. You have one hour to eat all of it. It’s free for the winner plus a pic in the papaer and one posted in the store.

The Original Wings Creation Story

On a Friday night in 1964, Dominic Bellissimo was tending bar at the now famous Anchor Bar Restaurant in Buffalo, NY. Late that evening, a group of Dominic's friends arrived at the bar with ravenous appetites. Dominic asked his mother, Teressa, to prepare something for his friends to eat.

They looked like chicken wings, a part of the chicken that usually went into the stock pot for soup.

Teressa had deep fried the wings and flavored them with a secret sauce. The wings were an instant hit and it didn't take long for people to flock to the bar to experience this new taste sensation. From that evening on, Buffalo Wings became a regular part of the menu at the Anchor Bar.

The phenomenon created in 1964 by Teressa Bellissimo has spread across the globe. Although many have tried to duplicate Buffalo Wings, the closely guarded secret recipe is what makes Frank & Teressa's the proclaimed "Best Wings in the World."

Come to the Anchor Bar! It's the birth place of the hot wing. There is also a chalenge for the suicide wings they serve there.

Adam,

You must try Cherry Valley Deli in Whitestone, NY in Queens. It looks like an ordinary deli from the outside, but it is like no other in the world!! Let me describe at least 1 sandwich from their menu: The Bushman = Chicken cutlet with american cheese, bacon, and brown gravy on a toasted garlic hero. I know it may not seem like the overly stuffed sandwiches you're used to at some other spots around the country, but I assure you the taste is heavenly. There's a million different sandwiches there too with onion rings, fries, and all of that stuff. The best ingredient is their gravy, hands down. Hope to see you go there on the show someday. Keep it up, man!

Adam,
I know you just did a Brooklyn episode, but your going to have to come back home. Clemente's Maryland House in Sheepshead Bay is the best seafood spot in Brooklyn. It is located completed out of the way on the side of the belt park. It's hard to find, but its a gem. The special thing about Clemente's is its 29.95 all you can eat blue claw crab special. In addition to all its delicious seafood meals, the all you can eat crabs really stands out. There is an outdoor deck on the water open in warm weather . People come and sit for HOURS getting re fills upon refills of crabs, because it really is ALL YOU CAN EAT. ( and its not one of those buffet places) In the summer the outdoor tiki bar is packed and there's a DJ every Friday night. It's like a piece of the Jersey Shore in Brooklyn. You step into Clemente's and its like your stepping into another world. You have to come when its warm and check it out. There's NOTHING else like it in the city.
