If you can finish it by yourself this monster is on the house! According the management, it has never been accomplished. It would be great to see Adam take this challenge. The Phat Bitch consists of cheesesteak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, mayo and ketchup. If four of these sandwiches are eaten, then a sandwich would be named after whoever ate those four sandwiches. Hullabaloo Diner, College Station Originally posted by: aimeebeth77 I recommend the Aggie Special at Hullabaloo Diner in College Ststion, TX. It is a 12-egg kitchen sink omelet. I saw you attempt to take on a pretty big burger, and I said to myself, "Self, why not invite this guy to take The Kong Challenge?!?" Lurking in the shadows of a plethora of amazing restaurants, this beast calls to seekers of acts of gluttonous debauchery, defeating all but two challengers in its history (including yours truly). Although the challenge has been completed twice, not a single soul has ever finished within the allotted time frame. So, what exactly is The Kong Challenge? Six juicy, quarter-pound patties, six slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a pound of fries... twice over! All in 25 minutes or less. Adam, I will belly up to the bar (no pun intended), and challenge the Kong, once again, if you agree to attempt the feat with me. I cordially invite you to beautiful El Paso, Texas. The Kong awaits us... Wuddya say Adam, meet you at Hot and Juicy? Chicos Tacos, El Paso Originally posted by: meathead89 The best tacos in the southwest. Rolled tacos in their signature mystery tomato sauce topped with shredded cheese. People come from all over the country just for theses tacos. Ham and Eggs, Lewisville Originally posted by: ray972 Great breakfast with pancakes and biscuits bigger than your head. these are not special ordered portions they come with your ordered breakfast. I've yet to see anyone finish their biscuits or pancakes and that's even with whole families sharing the damn things. Their "chorizo and egg" plate is off the chain! Adam should take another visit to Texas where everything is bigger. The Relay Station, Plantersville Originally posted by: dopey232004 Hello, just wanted to let you know about a real challenge. In Plantersville, TX there is a little restaurant called The Relay Station. There you will find a challenge many tray few win. A 85 oz steak challenge. Good luck, if you are brave enough. Delaney's Irish Pub, McKinney Originally posted by: stapptexas We live in McKinney TX, a suburb of Dallas and we have a wonderful Irish Pub that Adam REALLY needs to visit. They have over 50 beers on tap and some INCREDIBLE unique food. Everything is different and has a twist. Lulu's, San Antonio Originally posted by: lhomme Try to eat Lulu's cinnamon roll it weighs as much as a phone book and is bigger than the doughnut in roundrock. San Antonio has some serious food Rolando's Super Tacos, San Antonio Originally posted by: beau2780 Hugest tacos ever the tortilla they use is the at least 18inches in diameter and the heaviest taco they have is a 6 pd been and cheese taco. Manuel's Monster Tacos, South Padre Island Originally posted by: arod0215 Nestled next to the lighthouse in Port Isabel (neighboring to South Padre Island), Manuel’s is truly a landmark for this region of Texas. It’s an unassuming place, a small restaurant where the walls are adorned with football memorabilia, Scarface and the Godfather movie posters, and team photos from the local high school.. The service quick and well rehearsed. First off they’ll make sure you know about their tortillas. Fresh-made 18 inch flour tortillas filled the ingredients of your choice. “It’s like Burger King, you can have it your way,” the waiter mentioned on both of my visits.. |

Sulphur Springs, Texas
There's a donut shop here in town that has the best donuts! They make some huge cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. It's called Super Donut, and is located on Church Street. You can't get better donuts! Thanks for looking at my message. We love the show, Adam! Marsha |

Harvey Washbangers-serves wings that require a release form and have sent people to the hospital. The waiters also discourage any customers from ordering them citing it will be a huge mistake and the sauce makes anything it touches go numb. Hullabaloo-12 egg omlet its enormous! |

I have had a few friends that attempted to complete the harvey washbangers challenge and none have yet to do it. (One of these guys can eat two habanero's at a time). I concur with Hullabaloo that you all should give this place a shot as well. Btw, the place is called harvey washbangers due to the fact that you can do laundry there while enjoying a meal and a beer. Additionally, College Station is the home of Freebirds, where they serve the tastiest burritos I have ever had and I am a major foodie. Freebirds features the Super Monster, which is larger than the burritos I have seen him eat on the show, and each burrito is custom made.

Oh, of the two friends that ate at least half the wings, one could not go out that night afterward as he was sidelined on the toliet all night with a roll of tums, sobbing (seriously). The other drooled uncontrolably for about five minutes. I must warn you all in advance though, the only appeal is that they are very hot. I have tried one and it is one of the worst wings (even without the spice) that I have ever had.

Lastly, College Station is home to Texas A&M, that has the unofficial yet very popular tradition of senior ring dunking. Every time an Aggie gets his/her ring, they usually drop it in the bottom of pitcher and down it until they get to the ring as fast as possible. I have seen someone do it in as little as 12 seconds.

LOVE the show...You HAVE to go to SAN ANTONIO! There are tons of BIG things there. My faves are Chris Madrid's (burger place that uses snow shovels to flip the ginormous burgers and pounds of cheese and pig to top them) and Chacho's (24 hour restaurant that serves the Mando Nacho [full serving tray full of delicious nacho goodness] and frozen Yack'n'cokes...aka Jack & coke...OH YEAH!)

Gil's Broiler in San Marcos Texas.
A 2 pound burger, a large fry, large drink, and a Manske Cinnamon Roll... Many have tried and failed. Can Adam? For a hungover day at this top listed Party school in the U.S.A, a greasy Gil's challenge is the after party. |

My suggestions for San Antonio:
Lulu's - Giant (5 lb) Cinnamon Rolls and the Sheriff Chicken Fried Steak (which could typically feed four) The Smokehouse - Really good brisket (my favorite in San Antonio). The restaurant has been there since forever. Big Lou's Pizza - Really good pizza that is 42 inches across and fed about 12 people at lunch. Armadillo's - Giant burgers. I don't know how big the largest is, but it is probably about 10 inches across. |

I suggest Lum's in Junction. It's a tiny bbq place inside a gas station, but it's the best bbq I've ever had. Great hidden gem!

Three places to hit in College Station, Texas:
(1) Freebirds World Burrito: "This is my burrito joint. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My burrito joint is my best friend. It is my life." These guys make inordinately huge burritos with a ridiculous variety of fillings. It has spread to other Texas cities, but the first one in the state is in College Station, on University Drive. Adam should check out the "Super Monster." http://www.freebirds.com/ (2) Burger Boy: Three pounds of ground beef, cheese, all the usual veggies on a massive sourdough bun, served with french fries. I give you "The Hammer, v3.0." http://www.burger-boy.com/the_hammer.htm (3) Harvey Washbangers: Is it a bar? Is it a grill? Is it a laundromat? Relax, folks, it's all three, and they offer chicken wings so punishing that you have to sign a release form before they serve them to you. Finish them and you get your name on a plaque on the wall. Be sure to wash those bad boys down with a couple of bottles of Shiner Bock. http://www.washbangers.com/challenges.php |
