Please post your food challenge suggestions here for all international locations. If you have photos and video of the location, please upload them on our What's Your Trip site.
Here are some past posts about international food challenges: Australia Originally posted by: kelllbelll Cranky and the World's Hottest Burger, Off The Wall Diner, QLD, AU" It's called chili mega death sauce made from the hottest ingredients on earth, it'll have you seeing stars, and forget about sending you to the moon, you'll be rocketing all the way to Saturn. The Megadeath burger has a whole tablespoon of the stuff on it. And not even the diner's owner has been able to polish one off. If you think you've got what it takes the owners of Off the Wall welcome anyone with the mouth and stomach strong enough to take a Megadeath burger, to give it a go. But you have to be over 18 and not have anxiety, asthma, or heart problems. There's plenty of milk and yogurt on hand to help you along the way. Canada Originally posted by: shamrockcb Last time I was here, no one had successfully completed the challenge- EVER! I don't think it can be done. Check it out, an 8 pound burger at Bubi's in Windsor, Canada. http://www.bubis.org/bigger.html King_of_Donair, Halifax Originally posted by: daniesmiley Donairs (pronounced dough-nair)are made up of spicy beef that is roasted on a vertical spit, thinly sliced off, then pan roasted and served on a quick fried pita with the options of onions and tomatoes for topping. The epic part of this feast is the sauce. This is what makes it incomparable to a "Gyro". It’s a sweet garlicky white sauce that doesn't resemble anything else you've ever seen. The sauce is outstanding on pizza as well. Any local will swear by it and once any travelers try it, they can't wait to come back and have it again. England Originally posted by: pandabehr72 You beat the 72oz steak now try the 220oz steak. Eek Address: Uttoxeter Road, Fosten, Derby, Derbyshire, DE65 5PT Telephone: 01283 812238 Originally posted by: charlie_hogarth Adam should go to THE SUTTON ARMS in stockton-on-tees where you can order a 200 ounce steak, u need to give 48 hours notice but id love to see it Germany Originally posted by: cleatus Visited a place called "Big Emmas" in Ramstein Germany. We stopped there after a long day of work on base and chowed. Huge portions for everyone- not just a "special" item. EVERYTHING is massive. I ordered their HALF platter of brats...it was a pile of German potato salad (warm) and five whole brats. Yes- the HALF platter is five.... Here is their site: http://big-emma.com/ I also have pictures- or look at the site- The highlight of my dining experience there was the 3-liter beer....ouch. TO make a long story short- You need to send the crew to Germany...you will also have to bring me as a "technical resource" Smile I am sure we could go to Munich after this to find some more big-eats at Oktoberfest...if you insist. Korea Originally posted by: sgtpillow If your in the US Army and had the chance to attend PLDC in KOREA than you had one of the Jackson Burger Camp monster burgers me and a buddy of mine would have a double for lunch every day we where there. Thank God for all those hills you had to hump during school!! |

If you ever feel like doing an episode in England or Britain as a whole, might I suggest a challenge in Bolton (a city very close to Manchester), who're doing a Full English breakfast challenge; http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk...breakfast_challenge/ As well as that, if you ever did do an episode in the UK, in Manchester there is the Curry Mile, which has some of the best curryhouses in the world; http://www.restaurantsofmanchester.com/rusholme.htm |

Adam, if you ever feel like going to Bangkok, Thailand, I dare you to go to Swensen's Ice Cream Parlor and eat one scoop of ice cream, a Sticky Chewy Chocolate Fantasy sundae, a Coffee Caramel sundae, a Coit Tower sundae, an Ebony and Ivory sundae, a hurricane sundae and an Earthquake sundae in one sitting under 40 minutes. Just so you know, this isn't an official challenge, but it's more like ... a dare.
