Please post your food challenge suggestions here for this state. If you have photos and video of the location, please upload them on our What's Your Trip site.
Here are some past posts about locations in this state: Superb Sushi's La Bomba, Boise Originally posted by: brett nunez Located in the heart of Idaho's capitol city of Boise, the La Bomba roll is huge in both taste and size! Can you complete the challenge of downing 3? Come on down! Big Juds, Boise Originally posted by: hardcorbandit this challenge might be tough for you but I have faith in you, you have to eat a 2-pound burger and a side of fries or tots in under 10 minutes and 34 seconds if you do that you get the burger for free and your picture on the wall of fame you should defiantly come to Boise Idaho Rockies Diner, Boise Originally posted by: cubedm2001 Adam, you must take the” Rockies’ Challenge”. It is made up of the Johnny B. Burger (3 patties, a hotdog, pastrami, chili, Swiss and American cheese, grilled onions and mayo), a full size order of chili-cheese fries, followed by a delicious thick and rich shake. All of this must be consumed in 30 minutes or less without any help or getting up from the table. From what we were told, there is a 95% failure rate and if this challenge cannot be completed the charge is $14.99. They have absolutely the best burgers. Rockies Diner (Boise, Idaho) is a trip back to the 50’s with a DJ, servers on roller skates and perfect décor for the decade. Please join me here and I will sit along side of you trying to take on the “Rockies Challenge”. I don’t think my 20 plus years in military have prepared me for the assignment. Nosworthy Hall of Fame, Coeur d’Alene Originally posted by: johnsonpstfls Nosworthy Hall of Fame - 4045 Government Way in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho has what just might be the largest hamburger on any menu. This burger is the size of a medium pizza with a 160oz ground beef patty. 10 POUNDS of MEAT. Served with fries, of course. They also have the best omelettes in town |

a)Sundaes, in Idaho Falls, ID
I just discovered a great nes food challenge for adam. It is a challange that involves eating almost 7 pounds ( that's right 7 lb.) of icecream and topping. They give you a hour and if you eat you get it free, if not you have to pay about $20.00. b) the Hardhat cafe Idaho Falls,ID I'll just say that you can get the best "bucket of trash" that you will ever have. c) FatBoy's grill Idaho Falls Id this the the home of the five pound hamburger. |

Big Jud's, Ashton, ID
I see that there's already a Big Jud's challenge on here for Boise, but I was on vacation in Idaho during the summer and I happened upon this small town called Ashton which also has a Big Jud's. At this Big Jud's, there's an enormous 5-pound burger that no one in that restaurant has ever taken down. For taking down this behemoth you get your picture on the wall. I don't know if you get the meal for free, though. I didn't try it. Also, they have this ice cream dessert that again no one has ever managed to take down. If you do, again you get your picture on the wall. I didn't try it because I was rolling out of the restaurat from eating their 1-pound burger and fries and getting my picture on the wall! |

As stated above, Sundaes Eats and Treats has a challenge. Now called the family special, used to be called The Challenge. It is a 6 1/2 pound banana split. You can choose the flavors, toppings. You have one hour to eat it, no going to the bathroom, no sharing with anyone. If you tackle the challenge, it is free. Only two people have done it. Remember, 6 1/2 pounds.
