If your going to do "The Mugshot" come to Starkville. Jackson is a larger town but in Starkville you will have Mississippi State in your corner! Go Dawgs!!!

the MUGSHOTS in Hattiesburg, MS would be better it is the first of the four there are. as originally posted the MUGSHOT Burger is a triple patty burger with three buns bacon, tomato, cheese, lettuce, and condements. It has one or two beer-battered onion rings, and a pickle on top. It is surrounded by a ton of beer-battered fries. You have to finish EVERYTHING in 12 minutes or it's 20 bucks. Plus while you're there you can try everything from there delicious McDonald Burger to the Peanut Butter Burger. Yes the Peanut Butter Burger. And you could try there HUGE cheese wedges. Also if you have any original recipes they'll accept them and name them after you.

Now, that was a useful post - to let everyone know there is another location of Mugshots.

Arts in Matherville, MS has a 72 oz steak eat it and its yours with trimmings. There are other various restaurants in the area namely Fish houses and hometown cooking. A church owned restaurant called New Vision for the best country soul cooking. A restaurant within 40 Miles caleed Davie's.

MAtherville, MS is near Waynesboro, MS and sit on the MS AL state lines. It is approximately 85 miles north of the Gulf Coast.

Arts and Davies are in old Service Station buildings in the middle of nowhere but the food is excellent and woth the drive.

Hey Adam, after seeing a program about The Shed in Ocean Springs , Mississippi i decided to drive there from just outside New Orleans being as it is that i love BBQ, I use to go to the very first BBQ that the Neely's had opened in Memphis, Tn. they have been my favorite for years, well i can no longer say that after being"Fed at the Shed" I ordered the jumbo BBQ sampler and it was more than i could finish, well since i was sitting @ the bar watching the Saints play i was able to met the owner Brad i made mention that you would have trouble finishing this order and even though he does not have a food challenge per-say, he said he would be glad to challenge you to finish this plate the BBQ is excellent here is a link to their site http://www.theshedbbq.com/ordereze/intro.html if you ever get down this way it is well worth you checking it out, and i would advise it be on a Sat. cause then you get BBQ with live Blues music. IT IS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. these people are great people after reopening from the devastation of hurricane Katrina he gave away free food to people, and he told me that if the Saints make it to the super bowl this year he will be having free food at The Shed, So go get Fed at the Shed.
