Please post your food challenge suggestions here for this state. If you have photos and video of the location, please upload them on our What's Your Trip site.

Here are some past posts about locations in this state:

Bubba's pizza, Botkins

Quaker Steak and Lube, Cleveland
Originally posted by: lotus289
If you find yourself near the Cleveland, OH area (Sheffield Lake, OH technically) you HAVE to stop at Quaker Steak and Lube (yes that's the real name) and try their Suicide Sauce Wings. It's basically the same as most other wing places, but I've yet to see another that actually makes you sign a liability waiver before you get your wings! A friend talked a waitress into a teaspoon of the sauce for free and he was peeling the paint off the walls later that night from it! Smile
If you complete your order you get you're name up on the Suicide Hall of Fame. I've only smelled the sauce myself and it made my eyes water, I can't even imagine eating it. I say that Adam gives it a shot.

Johnny Oak's Po Boy & Shrimp Shack, Columbus
Originally posted by: foodcrazy
I know of a lil place started out very small . called "johnny oaks" he does cajun food. he is the best // all the local news celebrities love him as well as the mayor. he does the best brisket you ever had. some one even stole his recipe " city bbq" but we won’t name drop anywhere lol.. check him out.

Voltzy's Rootbeer Stand, Dayton
Originally posted by: junglxprt
This little wooden shack and trailer might look puny, but Voltzy's burgers, hot dogs and other sandwiches pack some powerful flavor (and Voltzy provides quite a bit of color too). Voltzy's is a longtime Dayton staple. Try the "Bill Clinton Divorce Finale", a 140 oz (~9 lbs finished), five-decker cheeseburger on a Hawaiian loaf. $33.00 to try, but if you (alone) can finish it in under an hour, money back plus some.

Jungle Jim's International Market, Fairfield
Originally posted by: atkrider
This is something Adam HAS to come to. Jungle Jim's International Market will be having their annual "Weekend of Fire" August 1-2. Actually everyone should come! 6 acre World Market all under 1 roof. This place is a "Must See" and besides that there will be a ton of manufactures there that will all have their products out for you to try. From the mildest to the wildest. You can just walk around and try whatever you like or think you can handle, sip a cold beverage-even my favorite BEER. It's an incredible event that is only once a year so make plans to be there. Also check out http://www.tastethefear.com/ for some neat food discussion and reviews. PLEASE COME AND JOIN US ADAM as well as EVERYONE ELSE!!

Mikes Place, Kent

Chet & Mattís Pizza, Sandusky

This hometown pizza eatery is home to what they call the King Kong party pizza. It is a massive 29" pizza eating challenge for two people to finish in 30 min. The restaurant is a great local sports venue as it supports all local sports with jerseys, helmets, pictures, and state qualifiers all over the walls and ceilings. All in all it is a great place to shoot a show such as this and a great challenge for Adam to take on. http://www.chetmattspizza.com/

Cottage Inn Pizza and Grill, Toledo

My name is Andrea and I am currently a student at the University of Toledo and there is a place called Cottage Inn Pizza and Grill here in Toledo, Ohio that is an awesome food spot. More importantly, Cottage Inn offers an eating challenge called the Monster Sundae. It's huge, and if you eat it in 30 minutes it's free!

For the best corned beef in the midwest, make sure you visit Slyman's restaurant, 3106 St. Clair Avenue near downtown Cleveland. The lean juicy corned beef is piled so high you can barely get your mouth around it. You will see everyone there, from suits to muddy overalls. Don't be discouraged when you see the long line....it's worth it.

Cleveland's West Side Market is a food mecca. Johnny Hot Dog stand under the clock tower is the best place to fill an empty stomach on Saturday shopping morning.

Also, the Great Lakes Brewing Co. across the street offers fine fare and history too. Elliot Ness frequented this location.

Dear Adam. the small town of Bellevue, Ohio doesn't have many local restaurants besides our pizza places being mainly full of Italian residents we have had close to 7 pizza places at once, but thats not important, the important thing is we have this challenge called "The Fast Food Challenge" it was created by myself and many people have tried and failed but its not impossibleive done it and a few of my bigger eating friends have, what it is, is getting a large portion of food at all of our restaurants in town fast food and all so heres a run down you start at the west side of town and work your way east. 1) a Tony Maroni at Cold rush. 2) 30 chicken wings from the Sports Hut. 3) an angry whopper from BK. 4) at least 2 plates from the East of Chicago buffet.{only on Thursday's} 5) a Wendy's triple classic. 6) at least 3 Wing Kings hottest wings and twin lakes. 7) at least 2 plates from the Chinese buffet. 8) a large pizza from pizza wheel 9) the feast from subway. 10) a big mac at McDonald's. 11) finally finishing with a banana split at millers drive in. Its not your normal challenge but you like challenges so i figured hey why not so there is the Bellevue "Fast Food Challenge" you don't get anything for winning except bragging rights and you get all day because....you need that to finish.

There is a challenge at Doug's Classic 57 Diner in Alliance, Ohio. It is called the King Kong Challenge. You must eat 3 King Kong Deluxe burgers in less than 30 minutes. One of these burgers is the most colossal burgers I have ever seen. My dad is a hog and he can only eat one. I would really appreciate it if you would contact me as soon as possible because I challenge you to the King Kong Challenge. The diner is ready for your crew to film this major event on Man v. Food.

Adam, If you want a great slider, you have to go to Crabill's in Urbana, Ohio. Crabill's has been around since the 1920's, and makes all of their burgers fresh - they even have their own homemade spicy mustard. A regular slider w/ cheese comes with onions, spicy mustard, ketchup, and sweet relish. They have a competition as well...current champion on single sliders has eaten 33, which the current champion on double burgers has eaten 26. I just KNOW you can top that! I visited Urbana this past week and ate at Crabill's for the first time - look forward to my next trip to Ohip; I will definitely go back for more sliders! Smile

You should visit Legends Sports Pub & Grille. Although there are a few locations in Ohio, I work at the one in Enon. We have a challenge listed on the menu. 6 Lucky Dogs in 40 minutes or less. The Lucky Dog
The Biggest Hot Dog in the world, half pound All Beef Black Angus hot dog comes with French fries and your choice of one topping (Sauerkraut, Onion, Chili, Cheese, Tomatoes or Jalapeno Peppers). i just saw you slam down 17 hot dogs on the Carolina episode. These hot dogs are much larger than those, I think you could eat 7 in under 40 minutes to break the record. Stop in and see us Smile
