| My best friend and I went to Peru for spring break in March 2007. We saw and experienced amazing things in Lima, Cuzco, and Puno but the highlight of our trip was in Machu Picchu. Though we were there during the 'wet season' we had amazingly good weather...it only rained for about an hour at midday. The rain cleared out most of the people that were there (not very many to begin with) and it was as if we had the whole place to ourselves. We also took upon the challenge of climbing ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP of Waynapicchu. For those of you that are up to it, I wholly recommend it. |
