I was very excited about a new travel show as I really enjoy them and have traveled the world many times over. I was even willing to give you all a chance watching several of your shows. However, after constant wincing, I must protest watching this show ever again. The places you visit are no doubt fantastic, but your execution is completely lacking. To the Ulles, you provide little insight other than what your tour guides provide. You are only, some of the time, aware of cultural considerations of where you are at. Unlike the well done travel shows, there is a lack of research and appreciation for where you are. For the sake of great travel channel shows, I truly hope this show does not go into a 2nd season and the Ulles are never used again. I do not need sorority and fraternaty rejects telling me what to appreciate about travel. Take lesssons from Samantha Brown and even Anthony Bourdain on how to host a show. Get over your vacation and get off the air to spare us from your repetitive and tired show.

I think that the producers and staff of this show should take some of the blame as well. The French "bocce ball" gaffe is described elsewhere on this board. I also noticed in the Australia episode that Circular Quay was pronounced "kway" but any local can tell you it's pronounced "key."
Maybe the show can be provide some entertainment after all-- play drinking games based on how many mistakes you can find in each episode!
