For my honeymoon we couldn't really do much , so we went to see Las Vegas . We stayed at the Bellagio were if I'm correct, they were having a Trumpet Awards ceremony that Mr Eastwood was attending . On my fourth night I got into a fight with my husband and went downstairs to get drunk. Once drunk and numbed I headed for the elevators when I realized the man waiting by the door was Clint Eastwood!!. Just so you understand, my dad was a huge huge "Dirty Harry" fan , and a picture would have been perfect . In any case I didn't say anything because I didn't want to sound like an "ignorant" fan. I quickly went upstairs, told my husband about it, grabbed the camera , and went back down to see if I could get the picture . To my surprise I found him right there talking to a security guard . I thought he had already finished when I said" Sir , could a take a picture with you?" He turned around , shushed me and said "let me finish!!!" I was so drunk I didn't really felt offended. I just thought it was hilarious the guy was such a jerk (there really wasn't much difference from this and his regular rolls in films). I insisted and yelled as he ran for his life "but you're an icon , my father loves you" only to watch him walk away. Well that's my silly story
Also went to check out the restaurant at The Venetian . What a disappointment Anthony. It was all propaganda. I watch too much T.V

you must have really rubbed clint the wrong way-- as I've worked with him several times, & he's one of the most mellow & lovely men to work with.

He loves his food-- great catering on his film sets, what's more he always queues up for his food, waits & doesn't like defeerential treatment-- eats with the crew, & cleans his space & puts away his dirty china like every else.

I'm sure he is a good person and I still like him and his films. I was a little too drunk and exited to get the picture and didn't realize I was interrupting him. My husband told me the same thing you did, he loves the guy too. We were laughing about it . I did get shushed (its a true story), but I still think it was hilarious and I'm not offended at all. He is a public figure but that doesn't mean he is obligated to like everybody or to always be in a good mood. Also a very handsome man and not looking old at all.

glad you got it.

I first came across clint when he was still 'DIRTY HARRY'. boy! was he handsome-- periwinkle blue eyes peering down at me behind his granny shades & then he traveled with bodyguards even in Bevery Hills before it even became fashionable. Now, he doesn't-- don't think..

He's so down to earth-- when he fluffed his lines he'd say-- what the hell do I know?! Or when he did his ' trademark looks' into the camera-- he'll quipped-- enough of that! we'd laugh.. but I coud see-- as nice as he is/was-- don't mess with him.

he doesn't suffer fools.

too bad-- you were drunk! if you weren't & you told him... your cause & polite? he'd be so please to oblige.

We all are fools at one point or another in our lives, specially when we start to think everyone else could be one but we couldn't because we already know more and done more than others. It is easy to fall in that mind trap

He should have been governor of CA instead of Schwartzenegger...not that I hate Arnold, but he's a Republican kissass...Clint....heh heh...remember the scene from Dirty Harry ? The prelude to "do you feel lucky"...
Besides..."Play Misty for Me" was great..almost equal with the first Conan.....can the left coasters send a few actors to NY to run for government ???...oh wait...we have Hillary and Cuomo...both Broadway!!!....lolol...
I just wanna move to the Rockies....

ha.. ha.. you know Arnold entered poitics after his film career was effectively 'over' after terminator 3 flopped at BO>

Meanwhile, clint's career was just going on another level-- & he earns more !!He went off to direct UNFORGIVEN. & to his first Oscar.
