Deathblade -- is the oops because nobody can access the pics? I tried but got an access denied message. Please edit the second caption (dumping banquet...) as it sounds very unappealing.
In defense of Chinese restaurants in the U.S.: most have two menus: one for Chinese people and one for non-Chinese. The non-Chinese menu is often on the bland side, almost like Campbell's soup gravy type stuff as opposed to the authentic Chinese stuff that you can get on request if you ask for it in the cook's native tongue or read it off the Chinese menu. Give some of your local Chinese restaurants another try, only this time dine with a Chinese friend.
